Launched Today! Brand New Plantlife Mix!

We're super excited to announce that we have a brand NEW tin launching today!

**Drumroooooooll**

Introducing the new PLANTLIFE MIX tin!

Developed in partnership with the inspirational wildflower conservation organisation Plantlife, these five 'garden wildflowers' have been especially selected to thrive in more nutrient rich soils.

Over time humans have adjusted the natural ecosystem/balance of our soils by adding composts and fertilisers - these conditions are a long way from those in which wildflowers have evolved! As a result growing wildflowers in garden beds can be tricky,  especially as these rich conditions also favour speedy growing plants such as nettles and grasses which can easily outcompete wildflowers in the quest for resources.

Plantlife and Seedball bring you five carefully selected species that are most likely to thrive in nutrient rich soils and bring a flash of wildflower wonder to your outdoor space: yarrow, oxeye daisy, self heal, meadow buttercup and redclover.

We're really so super excited to be working with Plantlife and helping to ensure that the important work that they do is being supported - plus proceeds from each tin go directly to Plantlife's new wildflower reserve in Cornwall, Greena Moor! This recently extended reserve is looking to restore 40 acres of land to help six of our most threatened plant species, including lesser butterfly orchid and the marsh fritillary butterfly.

Wild flowers, plants and fungi are the life support for all our wildlife - but without our help, this priceless natural heritage is in danger of being lost.

Plantlife is a British conservation charity working to save threatened wild flowers, plants and fungi. They own nearly 4,500 acres of nature reserve across England, Scotland and Wales where you can find over 80% of the UK’s wild flowers and an astonishing 3,439 different species – wildlife of all types.  The reserves range from wonderful meadows, incredibly rich in flowers, to vast peat bogs in Scotland. Seedball is helping Plantlife protect these special places by making a donation for every product sold - every product you buy will help nature in the UK as well as on your doorstep!
